No development in Marh Block with shabby condition of roads: Dr Rohit Gupta

JAMMU, Feb 13 : Apni Party Provincial Secretary Dr Rohit Gupta today said that the political leadership in Marh Block has neglected the developmental aspirations of the people in the constituency with poor basic amenities.
Addressing a huge public meeting in which over 55 people including many women joined Apni Party at village Chak Zaffar in Block Marh; Dr Rohit Gupta welcomed the people who joined the Party after they were impressed with the policy and agenda of the Party.
Speaking on the occasion, Gupta said that the people were disappointed with their leadership who represented them from the last several decades.
“There is resentment among the people against the negligence which has kept their residential areas underdeveloped for years and no one cared about them,” he said after hearing the grievances of the people.
He, however, informed people about the policies and programmes of the Apni Party.
“Our Party believes in equitable development in all areas of J&K with no place for disparity,” he said and further added that if the peaceful society makes way for development, it is the priority of the Party to ensure peace and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.
On this occasion, he distributed sports kits among the youth during the public meeting and the people also demanded conversion of state land into a play ground near a peer baba at Chak Zaffar, Block Marh.
The farmers also demanded compensation for the crop damage which is still not released by the revenue department even after preparing an assessment report. The grievencies of the locals were projected by Shri Ram Pal Dass.
On hearing the issues of the people, Provincial Secretary Trade Union, Daljeet Singh Chib assured that their demands will be projected before the concerned authorities for their early redressal.
