Early Times Report

Jammu, Feb 13: Senior BJP leader, and party spokesman , Advocate Abhinav Sharma on Sunday demanded that the J&K Government should rescind the order of withdrawal of post.
While addressing a news conference here he said, “BJP supports the job aspirants whose posts have been withdrawn. We appeal to the Lieutenant Governor to reconsider the decision of the withdrawal of posts.”
He said, “The new rules are applicable on future vacancies not on the existing vacancies. These posts were advertised and the process to fill these was on. Withdrawing these posts is unjustified. It’s their vested right and cannot be snatched.”
Sharma said, “Youth should not be punished for the failure of the authorities, who delayed the selection process. A probe should be ordered into why the selection process was delayed.”
He said that the government should go ahead with the selection of youth, who had applied for the posts in border battalions.
“The BJP stands with the aggrieved and makes a passionate appeal to LG Sahib to apply new rules to the posts that have been announced after J&K’s transition into a Union Territory,” he added.
