| 4 OGWs arrested with arms, ammunition by Police | | | Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, Feb 25: In a major success, Kishtwar police arrested four OGWs affiliated with banned Hizbul Mujahideen organisation along with arms and ammunition which include 02 UBGL Grenades, 120 live Rounds of AK 47, 02 Magazines of AK 47, Posters of HM outfit.
As per the details available with Early Times, today a Joint Parties of Police Kishtwar, 17 RR & CTT of CRPF 52 BN were on Long Range Patrolling in general area of Dool Dhar Jungle of Kishtwar. Four Persons were seen moving from Dool towards Dool Dhar Jungle, who on seeing the Security Forces tried to flee from the spot and alert parties of LRP overpowered and detained the suspicious persons.
On preliminary questioning they disclosed their identity as Shafi Bakerwal S/O Meer Khan R/O Pyas Padyarna, Fareed Ahmed S/O Haji Khan R/O Pyas Padyarna, Zubair Ahmed S/O Mohd Shafi R/O Pyas Padyarna and Ismaiel S/O Peerya R/O Chhichha,Nagseni.
During their personal search, following Arms/Ammunitions were recovered 2UBGL Grenade, 120 Live Rounds AK 47 120, 2 empty Magazines of AK 47 and Posters of HM outfit.
A case FIR No. 35/2022 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Kishtwar and investigation taken up into the instant case. |
