Jammu, Feb 25: Babus of Jammu and Kashmir are hell-bent to block all job opportunities for educated unemployed youth of the Union Territory. Babus are devising one after another scheme to make sure that educated unemployed youth would not get employment in the government sector.
The latest advertisement issued by the government to appoint retired government employees for short-term contract basis as Head Assistants, Accountants, and Senior Assistant in Jammu and Kashmir Medical Supplies Corporation Limited (JKMSCL).
After reappointing retired engineers, the decision of the J&K government to reappoint the other retired employees would spoil the future of thousands of educated unemployed youth.
As per the notice issued by the government, the Jammu and Kashmir Medical Supplies Corporation Ltd. invites applications of retired Government officials who have retired from State Government/PSU’s having experience in the field of accounts/tendering and purchase sector. The applications should reach the Corporate Office, Jammu/Kashmir by or before 14-03-22 at 4.00 PM positively. Place of posting likely to be at Corporate Office, Jammu, and Srinagar respectively.
Candidates should not be more than 62 years of age at the time of the submission of the application. Such engagement would be for one year. Computer literacy will be preferred.
As reported earlier by this newspaper, the Rural Development Department (RDD) of the Jammu and Kashmir Government had issued a recruitment notice regarding the engagement of retired engineers.
The notice was issued on November 11, 2021, and it was clearly mentioned in the same that retired engineers will be engaged Assistant Executive Engineers (AEEs), Assistant Engineers (AEs), and Junior Engineers (JEs) in the RDD.
The J&K government has already ordered for engagement of retired engineers on contractual basis for the execution of works in the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj department.
