Early Times Report

JAMMU, Mar 8: Residents of Basohli area and the adjoining areas have expressed concern over the lack of facilities and shortage of staff at Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Basohli. They have appealed the administration to look into the matter so that there is an end to their problems.
The residents said that there is shortage of staff adding that the physician is not available at the hospital. They said that same is the case with some of the specialities at the hospital with doctors not available to treat the patients who visit the hospital on account of different ailments.
The residents said that although latest machines have been installed at the hospital the doctors and technicians have not been put in place to handle such machines. They said that even there is no doctor to handle the Ultra-Sonography (USG) machine adding that people have to go to Kathua and Jammu for carrying out such tests.
