Appoint J&K based bureaucrats on provincial posts in administration: Shiv Sena
3/10/2022 10:39:41 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 10: Shiv Sena J&K unit expressed resentment against the continuation of discrimination as well as step motherly treatment being meted out with J&K based KAS/IAS officers still after scrapping of Article 370 from the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir, seeking appointment of local bureaucracy in all the provincial posts of J&K administration.
Briefing media persons here today, Manish Sahni, President J&K Shiv Sena said that after the abrogation of Article 370 from the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir and forming a Union Territory, the bureaucracy is being conquered by officials from other parts of the country due to which cultural, social and language of Jammu and Kashmir is affected severely. Sahni said that the bureaucrats being brought from outside states and posted in Jammu and Kashmir are neither aware of local languages, issues nor they have anything to do with the culture of the state due to which the government is proving unsuccessful in establishing better coordination with the people and their issues.
Sahni asserted that there is huge disappointment and dissatisfaction among the people while the local officials, who are capable and have the caliber to run the bureaucracy with utmost dedication, are feeling humiliated. Looking at the present scenario in Jammu and Kashmir, it seems that the bureaucracy is bent on proving the mission of 'Sab Ka Saath Sab Ka Vikas' of the Modi Government as a Jumla, he said, adding that the situation is not limited to all government departments, but more or less the same situation prevails in Raj Bhavan as well.
Manish Sahni demanded the Central Government to take a decision on posting J&K based officers to important posts with immediate effect failing which Shiv Sainiks would be forced to adopt the path of agitation to get their rights of Jammuites.
Among those who were preset include General Secretary Vikas Bakshi and G.I Singh, Chairman Rakesh Gupta, Vice President Harsh Gupta, Sanjeev Kohli, Balwant Singh, Sandeep Bhagat, President Workers Wing Raj Singh.
