PMAY: Who is lying in Arnia Municipality?
3/11/2022 1:05:30 AM

Early Times Reports

Jammu, Mar 10: It has been seen that Arnia Municipality always remains in controversies over allegations of corruption especially under ground realities.
Several allegations of corruption are coming to the fore regarding the Prime Minister's Housing Scheme. There were allegations of open corruption, whose videos had become very viral in social media, the latest case has come to the fore from ward number 11 and 12 of Arnia Municipality, where a few days ago, the people of the ward protested against Arnia Municipality, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The local people had also made serious allegations against some government employees who benefitted the poor people of the town, according to the information received from the sources, they protested.
In the midst of these serious allegations of corruption, an attempt was made to suppress some local citizens who raised the voice of Haq by showing fear of the police, a statement was issued in some reputed newspapers of Jammu quoting the Arnia Municipality Chairman.
In which he had said that Rs 25 lakh have been given to the people of Arnia ward number 11 and 12 under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, along with this he said that due to non-linking of Aadhar card of some people, they were not able to get the benefit yet. The biggest surprise came when the councilor of the local ward, while giving information to the media, told that people have not received Rs 25 lakh. Said that Rs 25 lakh has not come, when the councilor was asked whether the Aadhar cards of the people were not linked, whether the papers of the people were not completed by him, the councilor said that he gave all the papers on his behalf in the right way. Along with this, the councilor said that if he had not given the complete papers, then how would the names come in the list of people, now the biggest question is who is telling the truth and who is lying?
After all, why are the higher officials not able to take a decision to get the investigation done in view of the allegations of corruption and the seriousness of the matter? After all, what are the poor people suffering for? After all, how long will the poor people continue to be crushed in the mill of corruption?
