IRP 24 Bn organizes painting competition

UDHAMPUR, Mar 10: As part of the celebration of "Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav under Civic Action Programme" to pay glorious tributes to all the martyrs and freedom fighters today Indian Reserve Police 24th Battalion Udhampur organized a painting competition under the supervision of SSP Commandant IRP 24th Bn Anil Magotra, in the premises of Government Middle School Vishal Rajulian Zone Jib of District Udhampur.
The programme was presided over by Deepak Digra, SP Deputy. Commandant, IRP-24th Battalion and attended by Ajay Kumar Dubey, Dy SP IRP 24th Bn and Sham Lal Zonal Educational Officer, Zone Jib, Head Master, Kawa High School, Head Master of the host school, Anju Kumari Inspector Sunil Kumar, IRP-24th Bn and other officers/officials of IRP 24th battalion besides staff members and students.
While addressing the gathering, SP said that this painting competition has been organized to pay glorious tribute to those great souls who fought for the independence of this great nation and laid down their lives to protect its sovereignty and integrity.
As many as 65 students of Government Middle School Vishal Rajulian, Udhampur participated in the painting competition.
In the competition, under Primary category, Anvi Dubey of class 5th clinched first position while Kritti Lasotra and Preeti Devi bagged 2nd and 3rd position respectively. Meanwhile, under Middle category, Abhi Kumar class 7th adjudged first position wherein Shivani and Radhika got 2nd and 3rd position. Abida Parveen, Shashi Devi and Sangeeta Jamwal acted as judges on the occasion.
