3/14/2022 10:28:11 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 14: Impressed by the policies and programmes of Shiv Sena, dozens of people of Kupwara district joined the party fold in a function held at district Kupwara of Kashmir. Party workers were seen dancing on drums during a program organized in Kupwara.
According to a press release issued from the party's central office, Jammu, a joining programme was organized on the instructions of Party's J&K President Manish Sahni by Working President, Kashmir, Ghulam Rasool Lone in Milyal block of village Karalpora of district Kupwara, Kashmir where Dozens of people's from different parties join hand with Shiv Sena. On this occasion Ghulam Rasool Lone and Nasima Begum, Women President Kashmir and district President Shakeela Begum welcomed the newly joined members with Shiv Bandhan and party symbol. Sahni said that Shiv Sena is becoming the voice of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and people are getting full support and cooperation from every section and section. He asserted that Shiv Sena is determined to be the voice of the people and possible efforts will be made to proliferate the public aspirations and get their issues resolved.
Manish Sahni asserted that the Central Government has failed to come up to the expectations of people as it only made hollow promises to the people of Jammu and Kashmir never to be fulfilled. In a scathing attack on the main political parties of the state, he said that instead of raising voice on important issues like employment, education, health facilities, there is a competition among them to claim credit for the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A.
Even the dream of restoring peace in Kashmir could not be realized, Sahni said, adding that the socio-cultural and economic upliftment of Kashmir has been continuously neglected.
He also demanded free electricity and water for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, saying that Jammu and Kashmir is one of the regions with the highest potential for hydroelectric power in the country. He lamented that despite this, the people of Jammu and Kashmir are being looted by selling electricity to the consumers at high prices.
