4 die, 13 injured in cylinder blast at Jammu’s Residency Road

Jammu, Mar 14: In a tragic incident in the heart of Jammu city, 4 person died while 13 others injured most critically after a short circuit resulted into a fire at a local business unit at Residency Road Jammu.
As soon as the fire broke out into the business establishment dealing with plastic items, Polishing, the people from adjoining areas immediately raise the alarm, but before anything could be done, the cylinder blast took place inside which resulted into death of four persons including a child, her mother and two male persons including one believed to be that off the owner of the building.
Official sources told the Early Times that a major rescue operation has been launched by authorities after the explosion and senior officials including ADGP Jammu personally visited the spot and supervised the rescue operation and shifted the injured persons to the hospital.
The official sources identified the injured as 1, Marjeema Khatoon w/o age 23 yrs r/o Assam, Anwar Hussain s/o Unknown age 53yrs r/o Assam, Momina Khatoon w/o unknown age 25yrs, Menar-ul-Hussain s/o Mehju Din age 3.5yrs, Baby D/o unknown, age 07 r/o Assam, Asrar-ul-Islam s/o Anwar Hussain age 19yrs r/o Assam, Anku Ram Alias Antu s/o Krishan Lal age 53yrs r/o Gole Gujral Jammu, Pappu s/o Babu Lal age 45yrs r/o Bihar A/p Bhagwati nagar, Nilma w/o Unknown age 35yrs with 80% burn injuries, Mehju Din s/o Anwar Hussain age 25 r/o Assam, Sukitam w/o zehrulla islam age 24yrs r/o Assam, Semirinisa w/o Ishub age 30yrs r/o Assam & 13 Suzu Bano D/o Ishub age 4yrs r/o Assam.
Moreover, four dead bodies including one lady, one child and 2 male all are unidentified and were shifted to mortuary room for postmortem and identification.
