| PMAY fails to rekindle hopes of hapless families in Jammu | | |

JAMMU, Mar 14: Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (PMAY) has rekindled hopes of lakhs of families across the country, but in Jammu division there are hundreds of families that have been denied the same due to the lackadaisical attitude of the people at helm.
Reports said that many such families living in far-flung areas of Jammu division had applied for the houses under PMAY but up to this moment of time they have not been sanctioned the houses. Despite knocking at the doors of the people at helm these hapless fellows are yet to get the houses.
These families said that they have also been denied the gas cylinder under the Ujwala scheme adding that even in this modern age they have to resort to primitive means of cooking their meals. The families have urged the administration to take note of their difficulties so that they heave a sigh of relief. |
