Grand Finale of India Supermodel: Jammu girl shines at Jaipur
Isha Sharma crowned in 'Mrs Category' title

JAMMU, Mar 30: The grand finale of the national level's biggest and prestigious beauty pageant "India Supermodel and Mrs Universal India 2022 Season 7" organized by Dreamz Productions was held on Sunday at Kesari Bagh Banquet located in Vaishali Nagar in the capital Jaipur.
It is a matter of pride for Jammu and Kashmir as in Mrs category, Isha Sharma from Jammu was the winner, Mugdha was the first runner up and Rashmi was the second runner up.
In a fashion sequence that was completed in total four rounds on the theme of Western, Traditional, Indo Western and Sparkle Designer Outfits, the top finalist models selected for the finale walked the cat for the title crown.
"It was a very competitive competition as there were several rounds to prove one's mantle. It was a very tough call but I was very confident to win the title", said Isha Sharma.
She credited her win to hard work in keeping herself fit for the challenge. "Beauty contests are all about fitness and I have kept myself mentally and physically fit. Although there was a stiff competition, in the end I emerged as winner", Isha Sharma said.
She said that the pageant is divided into two parts, in which the semi-finale in the morning and the grand finale have been organized in the evening. "Total 75 models participated in this pageant which has models of 10 Mrs, 25 Miss and 40 Mr category"
The pageant began with the semifinale session that concluded in the morning. In which the models competed with each other and made their place in the finale. Bollywood actor Ashmit Patel was present as a celebrity guest in this semifinale.
Bollywood actor and Mr. World Rohit Khandelwal and actress and Miss India International Zoya Afroz were present as celebrity guests in the grand finale.
Show organizer Sharad Chaudhary said that after auditions in more than 30 cities from across the country, the finalist models have been selected for this finale. He further added that the dressage collection in this beauty pageant was showcased by celebrity fashion designers Pankaj Soni, Shaily Lather and Nikita.
The beautiful makeover of the models was done by Abdul Khan and Uzma Khan of UK International. The choreographer was Faisal Khan and the styling partner was Omdeep Motiani. The show was hosted by Sagar Anand.
The jury panel of the pageant was attended by Mrs India 2016 Preeti Kumari, plus size model Swati Roy, supermodel Jagjit Singh, celebrity doctor Abhinay Gupta and Mr India 2021 Rohit Saxena. Rahul Gupta and Namita Jain were present as chief guests.
In the pageant, Abhishek Dubey was the winner in Mr. Category, Vishal Singh was the first runner up and Roshanshu was the second runner up. In Miss Category, Ekta Singh was the winner, Barkha Rana was the first runner up and Sheriya was the second runner up.
