SRINAGAR, Apr 8: Residents of Sumbal in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district today protested against the Irrigation & Flood Control department against the failure of the department to start the irrigation schemes meant for irrigating the fields.
The residents said that despite repeated reminders and requests the concerned Executive Engineer has not started the irrigation schemes. They said that their fields would turn barren since the irrigation facilities are not available to them. |
