Udhampur : Staff shortage makes students suffer at High school Kultyar

Udhampur, Apr 9: The shortage of staff in Government High School kultyar at panchari in Udhampur district has put the future of hundreds of students in dark .
The School has acute shortage of teaching staff due to which students are suffering “, said Pawan kumar Sarpanch of kultyar bala
He also informed that the requirement of this school is 14 member of staff including teaching and non teaching but in this time only four teacher and 1 Piti master running the school and near about 286 strength of school includes 146 girl students but shocking is that no lady teacher appointed in school .
The staff shortage does not catch the attention of higher authorities of the education department as this high school having hundreds of students suffers has not gives proper education . A Students of 10th class said that schools have opened after almost two years due to the covid -19 and we want to study but staff shortage has put our future at stake.
About two month has passed since schools have been reopened but authorities have failed to provide teachers here due to which we suffering “, he added
We are requested higher ups to look into the matter and make arrangements of teachers at an earliest so that we won’t suffer any more “, another student said
Meanwhile ZEO panchari said that shortage of staff is a common issue , not only this school many of other schools which are running shortage of staff and we have informed many times to higher ups for requirement of suitable staff in different schools of this far flung area and hopefully they will do something .
