JAMMU, Apr 30: National Awami United Party (NAUP) has appealed to the LG Manoj Sinha to issue white paper on electricity problem in Jammu and Kashmir. The NAUP workers lodged a strong protest under the leadership of Manmohan Sudan State Secretary.
The party leaders lambasted the UT government for its failure to tackle power crisis. The power cuts are just due to the shortage recovery of electricity revenue from the people of Jammu and Kashmir and especially non recovery from the big bills in politics, bureaucracy and big govt departments like Education, Health, Jal Shakti, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Revenue, Police, Taxation, Divisional Commissioner, all DC offices, Estates, JDA and even LG office.
The party leaders appealed LG to direct PDD to recover the old outstanding bills from all big bulls in politics and all departments. They also appealed to LG to take stern action against the responsible officers why they have not don't their home work for future procurement of electricity when meteorological Department has announced that the whole north India will get heat waves in April. |
