UDHAMPUR, Dec 4: As part of Jan Abhiyan Shehri launched ahead of My Town My Pride 2.0 program, an awareness programme was conducted in Udhampur Township by Labour, Social Welfare, District Urban Development Agency, NULM, JKEDI, District Employment and Counselling Centre, JKWDC, Agriculture, KVIB, Tourism, Floriculture, Municipal Council and Housing departments. Officers and officials of concerned departments made the people aware about the different government schemes.
At Chennai, a series of sports activities were organised by the local MC in the Government Higher Secondary School. The President MC Chenani motivated the youth to work hard to achieve their career goals and also be part of the clean and green J&K campaign. They were also informed about the Self employment schemes.
A mega sanitation drive was conducted by the Municipal Committee Ramnagar to mobilize the civil society and students to keep the city clean and green. Under the Save Water campaign, the MC Ramnagar conducted a cleanliness drive around the water bodies of the town. A plantation drive was also conducted with the help of social forestry in the vicinity of Ramnagar town. |
