PM Jan Aushadi Kendras helping people in many ways: Rekha

JAMMU, Mar 9: Rekha Mahajan BJP District President Jammu South along with BJP District Secretaries Pummy Choudhary, Rohiin Chandan, Abhinav Anand, and other prominent persons visited the Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar and met took stock of the facilities being provided to the patients in the presence of Dr. Praveen Yograj Medical Superintendent Gandhi Nagar hospital Jammu. The BJP leader Rekha Mahajan met with patients enquiring about the medical facilities including (PM Jan Aushadi Yojana) being provided to them at the Gandhi Nagar Hospital.
The government controlled the price of over 800 medicines required for treating diseases such as cancer and tuberculosis, while the "Jan Aushadhi Kendras" have helped people save money, the BJP District President Jammu South, Rekha Mahajan said on Thursday, as she highlighted the Centre's steps in the health sector for the benefit of the poor and the middle class. During her visit to Gandhi Nagar Hospital Rekha Mahajan also interacted with "Jan Aushadhi Pariyojana" beneficiaries on the occasion of "Jan Aushadhi Diwas" (weekly long program) and took feedback from them about the scheme. Rekha Mahajan hails the public-friendly schemes introduced by the Modi-led government and she asserted the Jan aushadhi kendras are centers for medicines for the body, they are also centers to provide relief to people as they help them save money.
Rekha also noted the success of the Re 1 sanitary napkin and said the sale of more than 21 crore sanitary napkins shows that the jan aushadhi kendras have made the lives of women easy all over the country.
Noting that as of now, more than 8,500 jan aushadhi kendras have been opened in the country, Rekha asserted that these are not just any other government store but are now becoming solution centers for the common man. The government has set a target to increase the number of Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendras to ten thousand five hundred by the end of March 2025, She added.
Rekha Mahajan appreciated the efforts of Dr. Praveen Yograj Medical Superintendent, medical officers, and the whole medical fraternity for relentlessly working 24X7 who are making all possible efforts to provide all sorts of medical services to people suffering from different ailments.
Dr. Praveen Yograj also said, the central government-friendly scheme miracles the general public in many ways and fulfilling the dreams and giving advantages of the scheme to those eligible. Common masses availing the benefits of the schemes launched by the government of India and with the help of centrally subsidized schemes, we are committed to ensuring the benefits of the scheme reach the last man.
