Congress holds Haath Se Haath Jodo Padyatra

BANDIPORA, Mar 9: Amid ongoing Nation Wide Haath Se Haath Jodo programme of the Party, Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee today organized 6 Kms Padyatra from Markundal to Sumbal in Bandipora District in which Party workers and common people participated and raised slogans against the betrayal and wrong policies on the part of BJP towards people.
JKPCC President Vikar Rasool Wani led the Haath Se Haath Jodo march and appealed people to join Congress Party to seek resolution of their problems they are confronted with especially on unemployment, inflation, development fronts and to highlight various other anti-people and anti-youth policies adopted by ruling dispensation at Centre.
After the conclusion of Bharat Jodo Yatra, Haath Se Haath Jodo programme is another significant initiative launched by the Congress to connect with people at block level inorder to create atmosphere of trust and confidence across the country.
Speaking on the occasion JKPCC President Vikar Rasool Wani said Congress Party believes in serving and uniting people. We are duty bound to make Govt accountable and answerable to people for failing them on all counts and ensure justice to every section living in the country, Wani said
JKPCC President led six KMs Padyatra from Markundal to Sumbal in Bandipora and appealed people to strengthen Congress Party, for the fact, Congress is extremely concerned about their wellbeing, it will continue to fight for their (people's) rights whether in power or out of power, Wani added and said that our party has always respected and kept aspirations of people above power there will be no compromises on urges and aspirations of the people, JKPCC President assured while reiterating his appeal to people to join Haath Se Haath Jodo progamme in every block as it is set restore confidence and trust amongst the common masses, who are facing tremendous hardships due to the BJP's deceitful policies and misleading politics.
Vikar Rasool Wani also slammed the lathi charge on agitating youth in Jammu who were protesting against hiring of a black listed Aptech company by JKSSB for conducting written examinations and termed it a surprising move. Hiring Aptech for the examination is unacceptable and uncalled for, Wani said and demanded immediate revocation of the order.
Senior Congress Leader Mohd Anwar Bhat and dozens of party leaders were also part of the Padyatra.
