Treasury Officer warmly farewells Transferred Auditors

PULWAMA, May 13: Treasury Officer Pulwama, Talit Mehmood Khan gave a warm send-off to the recently transferred staff members/ Auditors of the District Treasury Office and at the same time, a grand reception was given to all the incoming officials.
ADDC Pulwama Dr Sheikh Abdul Aziz was the chief Guest on the occasion. Treasury Officer, District Treasury Pulwama, Talit Mehmood Khan Chief Planning Officer Pulwama, DSEO, District Fund Officer Pulwama/ Shopian, Treasury Officer Shopian, Ex-En PWD, Superintendent Treasury, transferee Auditors, all new incoming officials and other guests were present at the grand event.
Speaking on the occasion, ADDC Pulwama complimented the role of District Treasury Pulwama in general and DTO Talit in particular in maintenance and upkeep and smooth running of the financial transactions in the District. He said it is the duty of the Treasury Officer to scrutinize and examine every item/ bill received at the Treasury, audit all such bills and point out and watch against all irregularities, and added that in this regard District Treasury Pulwama has always topped in efficiency, productivity and merit.
On this occasion, the Treasury Officer, District Treasury Pulwama, Talit, congratulated the transferee Auditors on the successful completion of their tenure in Treasury Pulwama.
He highlighted their zeal and dedication towards their work. He also praised their dedicated services in the Treasury and underlined the contribution of the Auditors towards the Treasury Department.
Talit, speaking on the occasion, gave the whole credit of the acclamation/ commendation from ADDC Pulwama to the hardwork and dedication of the outgoing auditors. He lauded their role in the smooth functioning of the treasury throughout their tenure, even during the peak months of Financial transactions/ Payments.
The treasury officer while admiring the services of the outgoing Auditors in the Treasury, said that they played an important role in the overall developmental scenario of the District by making timely payments to all stakeholders.
While praising their commitment, their financial prudence and their professional character of work culture, he said that wherever they shall render their service as financial advisors in any government office, they shall prove their worth and mettle. He added that he has an unshakeable belief in their potential and ability that they will uplift and elevate the application of financial prudence and wisdom in making government expenditure. He further added that their punctuality and commitment towards the office will continue to inspire them and all other incoming auditors.
The Treasury Officer while addressing the incoming Auditors, said that all of them are experienced and capable of maintaining and managing the affairs of the treasury viz-a-viz the public. He added that Treasury has and will always provide best services to the public. He directed all of the incoming Auditors to work with keenness and enthusiasm to keep the living legacy of the Treasury Department intact for ever.
On the occasion, all the outgoing Auditors extended their heartfelt gratitude to Treasury Officer, Talit and other officials for their cooperation during their 04 years long tenure in District Treasury.
At the end of the function, Superintendent District Treasury Pulwama Naseer Ahmad Shah extended the vote of thanks on behalf of the Treasury Officer and other staff to all the outgoing and new incoming members and guests who attended the function.
