Half of NC leaders to goto jail soon: Rebel NC cadre
5/13/2023 10:26:41 PM

Early Times Report

Jammu, May 13: Within days of being expelled from the National Conference, a former NC cadre has dropped a bombshell saying half of the party leadership would be landing in jail soon.
“They will hear from the Police soon. Mark these words - half of Nawa-i-Subh- will go to jail in next 6 months. The former NC cadre said on his social media handle a few days after claiming that he feared a threat to life. The said youth face had claimed to have informed the police about the threat.
The said political cadre had been close to a NC leader who is seen as Omar Abdullah’s right hand. “He (rebel) was close to the decision making body and was also close the party’s editorial team so there’s every possibility that he could be having some evidence against them and that’s why he could be so sure about they getting arrested,” said an observer on the condition of anonymity.
Sources said the “expelled cadre” has been in touch with some youth politicians and was likely to join them in the coming times.
“He is close to politicians from at least two local parties and may join them soon,” said an insider in the NC.
Its’ pertinent to mention that the NC cadre had called it a day after a reshuffle in party when he was not given any position in the social media team.
The cadre has been saying that he was even not given chance to clarify his position.
It’s for the first time in the recent past that any youth cadre has been leveling such big allegations against the “grand old party.”
But a senior NC leader said the “rebel” cadre had been changing parties. “In the past he was with a different party and after some lobbying he was given space and office in this party and now he has left for another option,” said the observer.
Despite repeated attempts the said person was not available for comments.
