J&K passing through renaissance period, from nil to colossal development: Kavinder

JAMMU, May 13: Senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta on Saturday said that the BJP-led centre under the ambit of PM Narendra Modi has ensured electricity, water, state of art roads and cleanliness to people of Jammu and Kashmir. He was addressing a gathering after inaugurating the tile work worth over Rs 35 lakh here at ward no 20. Corporator Rahul Kumar, Vinay Gupta former district president, Ajay Gupta former Chairman JMC, Bharat Bhushan Chairman Cantonment, Chaman Lal, Sandeep Gupta, Sandeep Monu and Ajay Badan accompanied the former Deputy Chief Minister.
The BJP stalwart said that people by now have understood well that under Modi government colossal development has taken place with dispensation offering state of art civic edifice and amenities reaching at the doorsteps of the people. He said that the present time could be called as renaissance period for J&K as it is treading from no development towards the era of colossal development when the edifice and services in the UT would become comparable to the metro cities situated across the country.
The senior BJP leader said that locals can themselves gauge the difference between the quality of works done under the Modi regime and those which were carried out under successive governments.
Kavinder said that people should support BJP in all the upcoming political contests to make sure that the development spree which has been started by the BJP led centre should continue without any break or snarls.
He also appreciated Rahul Kumar Corporator Ward No. 20 for showing exemplary dedication towards carrying out development in his area of jurisdiction and ensuring works with ultimate quality.
Corporator Rahul Kumar, in his address, said he has taken up several projects of development in the vicinity and many more are in the pipeline, which shall be taken up in the phased manner. Sharing his experience, the local Corporator said, he has never seen such colossal development during the rule of past regimes. He vowed to continue his job with utter sincerity providing quality and timely results in ward number 20.
