| Traffic to be diverted to Ganpat Bridge for NH-244 construction today | | | Early Times Report
DODA, May 22: All the traffic coming from Jammu and Bhaderwah for Doda Township and other way round will be diverted to take Ganpat Bridge route on May 23, 2023 to facilitate smooth construction work of NH-244 (PKG-I).
The Construction & Up-gradation work of 2-lane with paved shoulder from design Chainage, Khellani to Prem Nagar (20.251 Kms), on Khellani-Kishtwar-Chatroo section of NH-244 (PKG-I) (alternate NH 244) is going on and the construction agency (NHIDCL) has requested the Deputy Commissioner to order for the diversion of traffic to reduce the volume of traffic movement from Neru Bridge towards Doda Town and the other way round.
NHIDCL authorities have requested traffic diversion from Pull Doda Bridge to Ganpat Bridge for hillside cutting, safety purposes and to expedite the construction activity safely.
Deputy Commissioner Doda Vishesh Mahajan has ordered the traffic management authorities to direct all traffic coming from or going to Jammu, and Bhaderwah side to take route over the Ganpat Bridge for tomorrow i.e 23rd of May 2023. |
