Civil Defence, inaugurates 5-day training programme | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, May 22: A 5-day training programme commenced at Government Higher Secondary School, R.S. Pura, Jammu, under the supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy.SP) Anita Pawar, Deputy Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. The training camp aims to provide basic Civil Defence training to 80 students from the Higher Secondary School. The training will cover topics such as First Aid & Firefighting, Snake Bite, Choking, and other life-saving techniques and preventive measures during natural and manmade disasters. During the inaugural session, Dy.SP Anita Pawar delivered a lecture, emphasizing the role of Civil Defence and the importance of this training in our daily lives. She highlighted the significant benefits this training offers to every individual. Paramjit Kumar, Chief Warden Civil Defence Jammu, also spoke about the organization's setup and the crucial role played by wardens in the Civil Defence system. The Principal of the Higher Secondary School, Ajay Sharma, expressed his gratitude and presented a vote of thanks at the end of the programme. Other dignitaries present at the occasion were R. Vijay Magotra, Deputy Chief Warden Civil Defence Jammu, Sub Inspector Mazammal Hussain, In-Charge of Trainings and Constable Parshotam Kumar, Civil Defence Instructor, and the School Staff. |
