UDHAMPUR, May 22: District Legal Services Authority, Udhampur, today hosted an Awareness Programme on “International Bio-Diversity Day” here in the Government Girls Hr. Secondary School, Udhampur.
The programme was organized under the guidance of Chairman District Legal Services Authority, Udhampur, Shri Haq Nawaz Zargar and overall supervision of Secretary District Legal Services Authority Udhampur, Ajay Kumar. The Resource person was Advocate Akhil Dubey (Panel Lawyer) assisted by staff member Vivek Sharma (Junior Assistant) and by PLVs Sham Lal and Anuj Gupta.
The resource person spoke at length on the topic of International Bio-Diversity Day.
The Secretary DLSA, while thanking the students and the resource person also threw light on this year’s theme of International Bio Diversity Day i.e. “From agreement to action: build back biodiversity”.
Later, a Painting Competition was organised by DLSA Udhampur at Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Udhampur. The Students who participated in the Competition were felicitated by ranking them 1st, 2nd & 3rd.
Trophies and Certificates of Merit were given to the students who stood first, second and third and rest of the students were awarded with Certificate of Appreciation by Ajay Kumar, Secretary District Legal Services Authority Udhampur and resource person Adv. Akhil Dubey (Panel Lawyer). |
