Annual Mindhal Yatra set to commence from June 1

DODA, May 29: In a meeting held in Blassu, Doda, J&K, Prof. D.S. Manhas, the President of Aadi Shakti Devi Chandika Sevak Santhsa (ASDCSS), announced the commencement of the annual Holy Chhari Yatra (Mindhil Yatra) from Maa Chandi Temple Blassu, Doda on 1st June 2023. The revered Chhari Mubarik, carried by Mata Chandi Sevak Sh. Payar Singh Ji and accompanied by thousands of devotees, will have a night stay at Gouri Shankar Temple, Kishtwar on 1st June and at Maha Kali Temple Sohal, Padder on 2nd June 2023. The journey will culminate in Mindhal, Pangi, HP on 3rd June 2023.
On 4th June, the Mindhal Mela (including Havan Pooja, Bhaderawhi Kud & Jagran) will be held at Maa Chandi Darbar Mindhal. The Chhari Mubarik will return on 5th June 2023, with a night stay at Gouri Shanker Temple, Kishtwar, and is scheduled to reach back at Village Blassu, Doda on 6th June 2023.
ASDCSS, in cooperation with Maa Chandi Sevaks from Udhampur, Batote, Ramban, Prem Nagar, Thathri, Kishtwar, Gallar, Kundal, Sohal, Tyari, Lujh, Killar Mindhal, and district administrations of Doda, Kishtwar (J&K), as well as Chamba (HP), is making necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of the Yatra. Devotees are urged to participate in the Yatra to seek blessings from Shri Chandi Mata. It is advised that those interested in joining the Mindhal Yatra should carry warm clothes, blankets, torch lights, plates, glasses, and other essentials.
The other executive body members present at the meeting were Ajay Sethi, Kartar Singh, Ravinder Singh, Shrikant Sharma, Satish Kumar Dogra, and. Muninder Singh.
