GDC Ramgarh honors departing batch

JAMMU, May 29: GDC Ramgarh hosted a spectacular Farewell Party in the college auditorium to honor the outgoing batch. The day was filled with nostalgia, as students and teachers came together to cherish the joyful moments they had spent during their time at the college.
The esteemed Chief Guest, Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjali Andotra, Principal of the College, inaugurated the event by lighting the traditional lamp. In her address, Prof. (Dr.) Andotra bestowed her blessings upon the students and wished them success in their future endeavors. She emphasized the importance of upholding principles, moral values, and discipline, instilled in them during their college years, for the betterment of both the nation and society. Furthermore, she motivated the students to work diligently for their upcoming examinations.
The event was meticulously organized by the students of the 2nd and 4th semesters, under the guidance of the 'MY COLLEGE MY PRIDE' initiative and the Student Welfare Committee. The day brimmed with joyous activities and served as a heartfelt farewell to the senior students. The program featured cultural performances, including soulful singing and captivating dancing, with students showcasing their talents on Punjabi and Hindi songs. The highlight of the evening was the Miss Farewell contest, where the outgoing students gracefully walked the ramp and participated in engaging games.
Among the esteemed faculty members present at the ceremony were Dr. Aditi Khajuria, Dr. Sandeep Kumar, Dr. Shamsher Lal, Prof. Risha Kumari, Dr. Anjali Bala, Dr. Rahul Kundal, Dr. Ashish Kumar, Dr. Varinder Kour, and Sanjeev Kumar.
Avinash Kour was crowned as the prestigious title of 'Miss GDC Ramgarh,' while Amanpreet Kour emerged as the charming 'Miss Farewell.'
The farewell ceremony at GDC Ramgarh captured the essence of bidding adieu to a cherished chapter in the lives of the outgoing students. It served as a reminder of the lasting friendships and valuable lessons acquired during their time at the college. With warm wishes and a promise to stay connected, the event concluded on a joyous note, marking the beginning of a new journey for the departing students.
