DC Ramban reviews physical, financial progress on district Capex Budget, ADF

RAMBAN, Oct 19: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam reviewed the physical and financial progress made by the various departments under District Capex Budget and Area Development Fund of DDC, BDC and Panchayats. He also reviewed implementation of central sponsored and flagship schemes in the district.
ADDC, Rajinder Sharma, CPO, Dr. Kasturi Lal, ACD, Ashok Katoch, CMO, Kamal Zadu, Executive Engineers of PWD, REW, Jal Shakti, JPDCL and PMGSY, DYSSO, CEO MC and senior officers attended the meeting.
Reviewing the progress on developmental projects of RDD, JPDCL, Education, Health, Jal Shakti, Youth Services and Sports, Urban Local Bodies, PMGSY, REW, PWD (R&B), Food and Civil Supplies etc, the Deputy Commissioner directed the executing agencies to complete construction works of the ongoing 422 SOS projects besides achieving the financial targets of the same by October 31, 2023.
The Deputy Commissioner directed all the executing agencies to complete the accord of AAA and tendering process of remaining projects of their respective sectors approved under UT Capex and District Capex Budget besides Area Development Fund of DDC, BDC and Panchayats.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the ACD to ensure that all BDOs shall book expenditure of all executed works to achieve the financial targets besides accelerating the tendering and allotment process to start all developmental works of public interest in their Blocks.
Taking stock of progress about projects of Urban Development Departments, Aspirational Panchayat Development Programme (APDP) and Aspirational Block Programme (ABP), the Deputy Commissioner asked the officers to implement all the projects as per parameters in the district.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the preparations being made by the administration for the Amrit Kalash Yatra to be organized from all Block headquarters of the district to District Headquarter on October 22, 2023.
The Deputy Commissioner directed all the officers to ensure all the arrangements pertaining to their respective departments well in advance for conducting a colorful reception of Amrit Kalash Yatra at the venue in Ramban.
