HPS dominates 3rd district Samba Matsogi-Do Championship with 21 gold medals

SAMBA, Nov 13: In a remarkable display of skill and determination, students from Humanity Public School Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana, soared to victory, clinching an astounding 21 gold medals at the recently concluded 3rd District Samba Matsogi-Do Championship 2023 held at the Indoor Stadium Samba. A total of 450 students from 11 distinguished schools participated in the fiercely competitive event.
Under the dedicated guidance of Mr. Nikhil, the school coach, eighty students from HPS showcased their prowess, securing a total of 64 medals, including 15 silver and 28 bronze. The achievement underscored the school's commitment to holistic education, fostering not only academic excellence but also athletic prowess.
The gold medalists, hailing from various grades, include Naksh Malvia (3rd), Aakriti Charak (4th), Rudra Pratap Singh (4th), Mukund Saini (4th), Keshav Singh (4th), Shiv Kumar (5th), Kushal Mehra (5th), Jaishav Bhagat (5th), Manvi Thakur (6th), Alisha Ali (6th), Ikjot Singh (7th), Paras Verma (7th), Sayam Singh (7th), Rehan Malik (8th), Krish Bamotra (8th), Sourav Kumar (9th), Afreen (9th), Pranav Rajput (9th), Chunmun (9th), Vanshika Sharma (9th), and Sneha (10th).
Expressing their pride, Principal Gaurav Charak and Vice Principal Anku Charak lauded the students for their outstanding performance. The duo congratulated the medalists in a special school assembly attended by Incharges and other staff members. Charak emphasized the importance of consistent effort, stating that success is the culmination of small, dedicated efforts repeated day in and day out.
The triumph not only adds to the school's growing list of achievements but also underscores the potential of students to excel beyond the academic realm, embodying the spirit of well-rounded education at Humanity Public School.
