KATHUA, Dec 13: Nav Adarsh Hr. Sec. School in Kathua recently celebrated the much-anticipated Kindergarten Annual Sports Meet, a vibrant event that showcased the athletic prowess and teamwork of the young students. The event unfolded on the school grounds, offering a delightful spectacle of enthusiasm and skill. The school administration, staff, and students were thrilled to witness the positive energy and sportsmanship displayed by the kindergarten participants, providing a platform not just for physical activity but also fostering a sense of camaraderie and healthy competition.
Principal Riti Prakash expressed his enthusiasm for the annual sports meet, highlighting its crucial role in fostering holistic development among the students. He emphasized, "The games organized during the sports meet were designed not only for fun but also with the intention of enhancing gross motor skills, fine motor skills, teamwork, and hand-eye coordination among our youngest learners."
The event received the gracious presence of the honorable Chairperson of the school, Lalita Katal, who commended the teachers for their dedication and hard work in organizing the event. Katal also took a moment to congratulate the young participants for their outstanding achievements and sportsmanship.
In the culmination of the event, students were felicitated with well-deserved medals as a token of recognition for their efforts and accomplishments. Sujata, the Activity Incharge of the school, played a crucial role in orchestrating the proceedings of the event, ensuring its smooth execution.
