Jammu, Dec 13: Peoples Conference senior leader Imran Reza Ansari on Wednesday termed NC vice-president Omar Abdullah’s statement about terrorism breaking out in J&K after rigged elections of 1987 as “the dark revelation of the truth by the even darker subconscious mind.”
“So you do agree the violence started in 1987. So now you do agree that people of J&K were provoked and the provocation was the rigged election of 1987”, Ansari said.
Pertinently, Omar in a recent interview attributed J&K’s violent history unequivocally to the rigged 1987 elections.
“Aaah!!! The ultimate Freudian slip. That 1987 was the bloody tipping point. And till date there has not been a closure to 1987.
Is this now the closure?” Ansari asked. |
