REASI, Dec 13: Dr. Sunil Gupta, IPS, DIG of Police for DKR Range, visited Reasi and conducted the Formal Inspection for the year 2021-22 in the district. Upon arrival at District Police Office (DPO) Reasi, he was received by SSP Reasi, Amit Gupta, and other officers.
The inspection included a thorough examination of records from various branches, with briefings on the functioning of different units provided by the respective Incharges. Subsequently, the DIG visited District Police Lines (DPL) Reasi, where he received a Guard of Honour. The inspection at DPL covered different units such as Kot, Stores, Barracks, Mess, and the Welfare Centre. The officer also reviewed the Motor Transport (MT) fleet of District Police Reasi at DPL.
Throughout the inspection, the DIG interacted with the officers of District Police Reasi, discussing their work and addressing their requirements in terms of manpower, equipment, and mobility. Key officers present during the inspection included Master Popsy ASP Reasi, Neeraj Padyar DySP Hqrs. Reasi, and Ajaz Ahmed DySP DAR Reasi.
