Review meeting called by Commissioner FDA J&K at Jammu

JAMMU, Dec 13: Today a review meeting of all designated officers, Food Safety Officers, DFCO of Jammu Division was convened by Commissioner FDA J&K of on Physical mode whereas the District including Ponch, Ramban, Kishtwar taken on virtual mode. At the onset of the meeting Shakel ul Rehman, Commissioner FDA J&K made elaborative deliberations on various issues inclusive of proper implemention of Food Safety & Standards Act 2006, Rules, Regulations 2011 and achieving the valued targets of initiatives of Eat Right challenges and allied activities.
During the proceedings of the meetings Commissioner FDA J&K stressed upon all Enforcement Officers & District Enforcement Officers to leave no stone unturned to achieve the 4th time Consective National level Award in the all Components of Eat Right challenge 2023-24, all initiatives by achieving valued targets at the best of the best untiring efforts including MFTV, Surveillance Samples, Food Fortification, General awareness and commorations of Millet year 2023 as a mark of excellence.
Precisely, Commissioner FDA J&K directed all the Divisional Heads ,District and Block level Officers to show result oriented committement by meeting out the valued targets, moreover, all the Officers were advised to curb the mence of the Adultertions and provide safe food to the Consumers and public in General. He also warned the quaters of all the Districts will be visited physically and monitored, in case of negligence and derelictions legal action will be initiated against the poor performancers who fail to complete assisgned targets.
