LPU hosts comprehensive personal contact programme

JALANDHAR, Feb 8: Lovely Professional University (LPU) concluded a meticulously designed four-week Personal Contact Programme (PCP) aimed at fostering academic excellence among its Distance Education students. The program brought together nearly 150 distinguished faculty members who conducted interactive and insightful sessions across 331 courses. These sessions, structured around carefully crafted instructional plans, covered essential topics from the syllabi to ensure that the students receive a holistic understanding of their respective subjects.
The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from thousands of students hailing from diverse geographical locations. Attendees benefited significantly from personalized academic counselling provided by LPU's subject matter experts, addressing queries and enhancing conceptual clarity.
Participants lauded the program for its exemplary teaching standards and student-centric approach. One student from MBA shared, "The depth of knowledge exhibited by the faculty, coupled with their calm demeanour and effective communication, made the learning experience both comfortable and enriching." Another expressed gratitude, stating, "The faculty's dedication helped me clear all my doubts, significantly boosting my confidence and exam readiness."
The PCP classes covered Post-Graduate and Undergraduate degree and Diploma programs in the disciplines of Management, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Commerce, Library and Information Sciences, Economics, Education, English, Hindi, Punjabi, History, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology. The sessions drew a diverse group of learners, including government employees and working professionals, who managed to balance their professional commitments while actively engaging in the program.
Highlighting the success of the PCP, the Director of the Centre for Distance and Online Education emphasized LPU's commitment to empowering students through innovative educational initiatives. Presently, admission to various LPU Distance Education Programmes including MBA, BBA, DBA, MCA, BCA, DCA, M.SC.(IT), B.SC.(IT), M.COM., B.COM., M.A. (Economics, Education, English, Hindi, History, Mathematics, Political Science, Sociology, Punjabi, Psychology), B.A., MLIS, BLIS, and DLIS are open for the February 2025 Session.
