Poonch, June 14: Former MLC Pardeep Sharma held an interactive meeting with media persons in Poonch and appreciated their dedicated work and courageous reporting during Operation Sindoor.
In a gesture of respect and encouragement, Sharma honoured journalists by presenting them with shaals. The event witnessed participation from all media persons in the region and was held under the presidency of Randhir Singh Prisident of the District Journalist Association, Poonch.
During the programme, senior journalist Niaz Shah and others highlighted key issues faced by the media, including the urgent need for bulletproof jackets for on-ground reporting and the establishment of a Press Club in Poonch.
In response, former MLC Pardeep Sharma assured the media fraternity that he would take up these matters with the Central Government and advocate for their resolution. |
