Crime Branch books SI, teacher, Anganwadi worker for using fake documents

JAMMU , July 11: Crime Branch has booked a Sub- Inspector, a Teacher and an Anganwadi worker for securing government jobs by using fake documents. Three separate cases have been registered.
An FIR has been registered against Mohinder Paul (Sub-Inspector, presently posted in IRP 4th Bn) S/o Krishan Lal R/o Upper Nonial, Tehsil Nowshera, District Rajouri on the written complaint of Sita Ram S/o Lehna Ram R/o Nonial, Tehsil Nowshera, District Rajouri for securing job in Police department JKAP in 1995 by using fake educational qualification documents, as contents of the complaint, departmental enquiry report and preliminary verification report prima-facie revealed commission of cognizable offence.
On the written complaint of Bachan Lal of Suchetgarh, CB has registered a case against Govind Kumar S/o Krishan Lal R/o Village Khamb, R.S Pura for getting job in J&K School Education Department as ReT Teacher in 2004 by using fake /forged Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) and subsequently getting confirmed as permanent Teacher.
A written complaint was received from Khursheed Ahmed Naik of Khari, Ramban in which the complainant alleged that Ghulam Hassan Naik S/o Abdul Aziz Naik and Shakeela Bano D/o Ghulam Hassan Naik both residents of village Khari , Tehsil Khari, District Ramban are father & daughter in relation. Ghulam Hassan Naik having date of birth as 06-12-1966 is a government Teacher , Shakeela Bano having date of birth as 01-01-1976 is employed as Anganwadi Worker, father and daughter have an age difference of 09 years and 26 days only. The complainant further alleged that Shakeela Bano is illiterate and in order to get her selected as Anganwadi Worker (AWW) , her father Ghulam Hassan Naik manipulated , tampered the school records of Shakeela Bano thereby committing forgery. CB has registered a case against individuals namely Ghulam Hassan Naik , Shakeela Bano (AWW) and others on the basis of the contents of the complaint and preliminary verification report.
Senior Superintendent of Police Crime Jammu, Benam Tosh confirmed that three separate cases viz. case FIR No. 33/2025, case FIR No. 34/2025 and case FIR NO. 35/2025 have been registered at Police Station Crime Branch (EOW) Jammu and investigations started.
