Congress always struggled for the rights of Kissans

JAMMU, July 12: An impressive function was held to facilitate the newly appointed Chairman PCC Kissan Cell Shri Bharat Priya at Congress HQ Shaheedi Chowk Jammu, today.
PCC Chief Tariq Hameed Karra, Raman Bhalla-Working President, Mula Ram, Yogesh Sawhney, Thakur Balbir Singh, Ved Mahajan, Dina Nath Bhagat, T.S.Tony, Neeraj Gupta, Sanjeev Panda, Pankaj Dogra, Parvez Wani, Sheikh Mujeeb, Adv Asif Naqib, Vinod Khajuria, Bupinder Singh Jamwal, facilitated the newly chairman and he was profusely garlanded during the function.
PCC President recall the slogan of former Prime Minister Late Shri Lal Bhadur Shashtri 'Jai Jawan Jai Kisan' in the year 1965 and said that the conditions of 'Jawans' and 'Kisans' in the country is visible to everyone and said that the consistent and spirited fight of the farmers against the flawed decisions and laws of the Modi government promoted significant challenge to the Government.
He also recalled the farmers struggle in the country, in which 700 farmers died and said that it was the victory under the dynamic and able leadership of Shri Rahul Gandhi over the Modi government when the Congress party extensively organized programmes in the country for the welfare of the famer Community.
He congratulated Shri Bharat Priya on his nomination as chairman of Congress Kissan Cell and asked him that he should start contacting Kissans throughout the state and take up the problems with the government, advisors and other concerned for redressal of their genuine demands.
Raman Bhalla also asked him to bring the burning problems of Kisan's of the Jammu and Kashmir to the notice of Congress leaders to seek and mitigate the day today problems and accordingly take up with the government for redressal.
He also stress on him that Kissan awareness meetings at district/ block level should be held to strengthen the congress party, which always struggled for the rights of kissans on top priority.
Bharat Priya suggested that the Kisans, being back bone of our country are facing problems to get agriculture loan, Kisan Bima Yojna and Kisan Credit Card facility.
He demanded and urged government to form Advisory Board of Kisans, the electricity bill should be zero to the kisans, the Neno Urea should be stopped at the earliest without any dely.
Bharat Priya Chairman presented the vote of thanks to all Senior Congress leaders and other Kissan Leaders for participation in the meeting present in the function
