JAMMU, July 12: The Akhil Bhartiy Rashtriy Shaishik Mahasangh (ABRSM) today organized a grand Guru Bandhna programme in Jammu to honour and celebrate the invaluable role of teachers in shaping society. The event was held under the able leadership of State President Rattan Sharma, who emphasized the cultural and moral significance of the Guru-Shishya tradition in nation-building.
Several prominent dignitaries graced the occasion, including Sh. Rahul Sharma (UT Joint Additional Secretary), Rakesh Sharma State Executive member, Pawan Sharma District President Jammu, Ved Parkash (District General Secretary Jammu), Rajinder Singh District Sr. Vice President, Tarsem Lal (District Treasurer/Media Prabhari), Rakesh Sharma District Joint Secretary, Bali Ram (Akhnoor Zone Secretary), Narrotam Sharma District Executive member, Kuldeep kumar Zonal President Jourian, Ashwsni Kumar Zonal President Khour, Tarseem Kumar Akhnoor, Satishta Devi. Anjana, Nirmal Devi, Poonam Lata, Ajay kumar Media Prabhari Chowki Choura, Charanjeet Singh, Tirth Ram, Shinda kumar among others. The programme featured devotional renditions, felicitation of senior educators, and inspiring addresses on the pivotal role of teachers in educational and societal transformation.
