Udhampur, Sept 1: Continuing its sustained efforts against cybercrime, Cyber Cell Udhampur has successfully recovered and refunded Rs 7,17,148.52/- to victims of cyber fraud in 17 complaints during the period 01.08.2025 to 31.08.2025.
The refunded amounts range from Rs 1,000/- to Rs 1.98 lakh, benefiting victims from different areas of Udhampur District. Major recoveries include ₹1,98,563/- to Uttam Kumar of Shakti Nagar, ₹1,45,135.58/- to Akhil Vaid of Kangloo Karalaie, and ₹1,03,297.94/- to Pankaj Kumar of Advance Medical Store Depot.
Udhampur Police appeals to the public to remain vigilant against online frauds and immediately report any such incident on the National Helpline 1930 or at the nearest Police Station.
