JAMMU, Sept 1: The Government of J&K has ordered the promotion of Majeeb-ur-Rehman (JKPS: 2008) to the grade of Superintendent of Police Selection Grade-II (Level 12, Rs 78,800–2,09,200) of the Pay Matrix.
According to the Home Department order, the promotion has been made on the recommendations of the Selection Committee-I and will take effect immediately.
The order further states that the promotion will remain subject to the outcome of any writ petitions pending before competent courts of law. |
