Jammu, Sept 1: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has issued a fresh administrative order assigning additional responsibilities to Dr. Piyush Singla, IAS (AGMUT: 2012).
According to Government Order No. 1165-JK(GAD) of 2025, dated September 1, 2025, Dr. Singla, who is currently serving as Secretary to the Government, Information Technology Department, and holding the additional charge of Administrative Secretary, General Administration Department, will now also oversee the Information Department.
The order specifies that Dr. Singla will hold the charge of Administrative Secretary, Information Department, in addition to his present duties, until further orders. This arrangement has been made in view of Shri M. Raju, IAS (AGMUT:2005), Administrative Secretary, Information Department, proceeding on leave.
The directive has been issued in the interest of smooth administration and governance continuity. The order was signed by Dr. Piyush Singla himself, in his capacity as Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department. |
