| Drug peddler nabbed by police station Bahu | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 1: Under the Supervision of SSP Jammu and the direct guidance of SP City South, SDPO City East and SHO PS Bahu Fort, Jammu Police achieved a breakthrough with the arrest of a suspected drug peddler and recovery of a Ganja-like substance.
Acting on routine patrolling duties, a police team from Police Post Narwal, led by IC Police Post Narwal and assisted by other officials, intercepted a suspicious person near Shankar Nagar Narwal.
The suspected person was identified as Sunil Kumar Chouhan S/o Ram Dayal R/o Chattisgarh A/P Channi Rama Upon conducting a search, the police recovered 6Kg 500 Grams of Ganja-like substance from his possession.
A case FIR No 261/25 U/s 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort Jammu and the accused has been taken into custody for further investigation.
Jammu Police reiterates its commitment to eradicating drug menace from the society and urges citizens to come forward with any information regarding drug-related activities. |
