Infighting intensified in BJP after announcement of BDCs elections

Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 3: Infighting in state unit BJP has been intensified with the announcement of elections for Block Development Councils (BDCs) because leaders at district level have started projecting their loyalists for party mandates. Election Department has announced BDCs elections on party basis so hectic lobbying has been started within the party to get mandate for these polls. Credible sources said that recommendation of Mandal and Zila committees of BJP is important for giving mandate to any candidate for BDCs elections so Mandal and Zila presidents are trying their best to accommodate only their loyalists at the cost of deserving candidates. Instead of recommendation names of dedicated BJP workers for BDCs elections, Mandal and Zila presidents, sources said, are trying to projects only those leaders who have recently joined party to settle score with their opponents within the party.
