Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 9: Taking serious note of target killings by the terrorists, the Union Government has decided to send five additional companies to Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) J&K to further strengthen the security grid in the Union Territory (UT). As per reports, these companies will be deployed in different areas within a week. The CRFP has earlier sent 25 companies to J&K. Highly placed sources said that during his recent visit to J&K, Union Home Minister, Amit Shah had made it clear that selective killings would not be tolerated. While chairing a high-level security review meeting at Srinagar, Shah had emphasized coordination among different agencies to frustrate evil designs of terrorists who were indulged in selective killings to create a fear psychosis. The announcement to send more CRPF companies came a day after a salesman Ibrahim Khan was shot dead by terrorists in Srinagar. Sandeep Mawa himself revealed on a national TV channel that police informed him about 3 pm on Monday that terrorists were going to attack him. “Within minutes after getting information about the possible terror attack, I immediately returned to my home in a small car just to mislead the terrorists who were roaming near my shop”, he said. “I have an XUV (vehicle). Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Nov 9: The Government today informed that 138 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 32 from Jammu division and 106 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 333325.Also, 02 Covid deaths have been reported from Kashmir Division.
