Early Times Report Jammu, June 11: After the Jammu region witnessed unprecedented and unscheduled power cuts, the Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) of J&K Power Development Department (J&K,PDD) has appealed the consumers to make judicious use of electricity but the department has failed to identify their own ‘black-sheep’. While addressing a joint press conference at Jammu on Wednesday with MD of JKPDCL, Er Gurmeet Singh, Chairman JPDCL, Jagmohan Sharma asked the people to stay vigilant and help in identifying any ‘black sheep’ within JPDCL-J&K PDD, which are in connivance with power thieves in the society. “Society cannot progress without the active contribution of its members and everyone should do his part, conscientiously’: he added. The statement of the JKPDCL chairman is a clear indication that power theft is going unabated due to some black sheep in the department.
