Health institutes in Jammu slip into 'deep coma' 9/14/2020 12:55:07 AM EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Sept 13: All health institutes of Jammu province including the premier Government Medical College (GMC) have slipped into 'deep coma' due to alleged casual approach of the officials. Credible sources said that health institutes have completely collapsed with an increasing number of corona positive cases and doctors in these institutes taking the excuse of COVID-19 to shriek their responsibilities. "On one hand all institutions lack basic infrastructure to fight the pandemic as those at the helm of the affairs had wasted lockdown period to equip hospitals with infrastructure, while on the other their senior doctors are not shouldering their responsibilities," sources alleged. They said, "From the day one when the first patient of Coronavirus was detected on March 9, all senior doctors are skirting their responsibilities." Some patients who recovered from the deadly virus revealed that "except throwing them in the isolation wards no effort was made by the doctors to treat them.
