IAR appeals to boycott LS polls | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 5: India Against Reservation (IAR) appealed to the people belong to general categories not to participate in voting in Lok Sabha elections due to discrimination with general categories people by parliamentarians. As per press release, we should not support to any political parties or candidates in J&K except some candidates of Arakshan Virodhi, who are contesting in Haryana, Rajasthan, UP & MP. Members of the IAR said there is only provision for SC, ST and OBC by birth instead of poverty and merit in constitution of India due to this general categories sufferer of price high and taxes. General categories needed 95-98% marks for jobs and professional courses and SC, ST & OBC needed 40-45%, why this discrimination with general categories. They said that for general categories forms filling and admission in professional colleges high fees and for SC, ST & OBC this is free, why? In Govt Jobs the 50% opportunity is snatched from general categories by making laws, this discrimination is why with general categories. |
