SAMBA, Apr 5 : "Government is not visible on ground. Everything is appears only on papers", pointed out Yash Pal Sharma, PDP candidate for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat and added that Congress-National Conference has betrayed people of Jammu and Kashmir. Addressing series of public meetings in Samba during road show, Sharma said that during the nearly six years, Omar Abdullah government has done nothing to solve problems of the masses. "Instead of solving problems of the people this regime has been indulged into deceptive tactics so it is high time to teach coalition a lesson in elections", Sharma said and exhorted the people that use their votes as a weapon to give a befitting reply to the coalition for its deceitful tactics. Congress is equally responsible for prevailing situation in the State, he said. He flayed National Conference led coalition regime for its failure to implement the Central sponsored schemes and properly utilized the funds sanctioned by the Centre. He regretted that during the last nearly six years most the central sponsored schemes have been either stopped of lying defunct due to the failure of the coalition regime. He regretted that miseries of the common masses have been increased manifold after formation of Congress-National Conference regime in the State because this dispensation was non serious in mitigating woes of the people. Pawan Dev Singh, R S Jamwal, Bhanu Partap Singh, Anita Devi, Sukhdev Singh Tinko, Sunny Sangral, Parveen Singh Katal, Choudhary Javed, Advocate Nitin, Shashi Pal and others addressed the meetings. |
