| VOJ books Tehsildar, five Ors for illegall issuance of Fard | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 5 (JNF): In an Alleged Illegal issuance of Fard/ Intikhab of Agriculture land, Vigilance Organzaition Jammu (VOJ) today registered an FIR No 9/2014 against then Tehsildar Jammu, and five other officers/officials of Revenue Dept Jammu alleging issuance of false and fraudulent fard-e-intikhab of agricultural land.
VOJ registered an FIR No 9/2014 against Narayan Singh then Tehsildar Jammu, Anil Magotra then Naib Tehsildar, Mahesh Chander then Naib Tehsildar Jammu Khas, Fida Hussain then Patwari, Mustaq Hussain then Girdawar and Razak Hussain then Patwari at present Patwari Digiana and ors officers/officials of Revenue Dept Jammu u/s 5(1) (d) r/w section 5(2) PC Act 2006 BK and 120-B, 420/467/471/468 RPC.
According to case file verification was conducted into the complaint against the officers of revenue Department Jammu alleging issuance of false and fraudulent fard-e-intikhab of agricultural land comprised in Khasra No 698 min situated at Top Sherkhania, Jammu and facilitating its illegal sale in violation of 28-A of Agrarian Reforms Act, 1976 has revealed that ownership rights of land were conferred upon prospective owner namly Anant Ram s/o Divya by virtue of mutation Nos 3145 and 3146 attested under section 7 and 8 of Agrarian reforms Act.
During the verification it has been further revealed that an appeal was filed by one Som Dutt before J&K Special Tribunal against the attestation of mutation No 3095 and 3146 pertaining to land measuring 5 Kanal 14 marlas falling under Khasra No698 of Toph-Sherkhania Jammu in favour of Anant Ram.
The Special Tribunal has set-aside the orders of Commissioner Agrarian Reform Act and no appeal was preferred. It is further revealed that neither appeal was preferred and nor was the said order was implemented by cancelling the two mutations.
The revenue officials from time to time by abusing their official position and for conferring undue benefits upon Anant Ram continued to reflect ownership in name of Anant Ram. After doing verification, VOJ today registered a case and investigation of the case is entrusted to Pawan Kumar Inspector VOJ. |
