Tara Chand seeks votes for Ghulam Nabi Azad

JAMMU, Apr 10: Senior Congress leader and Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand today said that vote for Congress will be a vote for stability, peace and prosperity of country and Jammu and Kashmir State in particular.
He said that no one except Congress can give nation a stable government which is the need of hour. The country, he added was passing through most sensitive phase and elections of divisive or communal forces to power would destabilise its economy in a big way.
Seeking votes for former Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, party candidate from Udhampur-Doda parliamentary constituency Tara Chand said that electing communal forces like BJP to power would be the biggest ever misadventure in the history. He was addressing public meetings at village Ransoo, Kotla and adjoining areas of district Reasi and sought votes for Congress.
He said that Ghulam Nabi Azad is the son of soil who did many historic works for people of Jammu and Kashmir State.
Maximum development took place during the tenure of Ghulam Nabi Azad which till date has remained matchless. He urged people to sense gravity of situation and vote a secular, progressive and visionary political outfit like Congress to power which has a legacy of building nation and bring peace and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir State in particular.
The kind of development state witnessed in health sector and other fields is par excellence and only Congress can stretch that development further. Ghulam Nabi Azad, he said has been in the parliament for years together and would be able to represent his people in a far better manner than anyone else. He said that by sending Azad to the Parliament people will be making their voices heard at the highest forum in most effective manner.
