KCIS, MHAC Nagbani enter semis of football | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 17: The KC International School (KCIS) and MHAC Nagbani today entered the semifinals of the ongoing inter-school under-14 football tournament of Jammu district for Coca Cola Cup, organised by the J&K Football Association (JKFA) at GGM Science College ground, here. In the quarterfinals, KCIS defeated BSF School-A 6-5 via tie-breaker. Earlier, in the stipulated time, the match ended in goalless draw. In tie-breaker, Ajay, Sidharth, Anubhav, Vansh, Abik and Lakshay successfully netted the ball while Kunwarpal missed. Similarly, from BSF-A, Lakshit, Mali, Keshav and Rahul were successful in their attempts on the net while Jasi and Shivam could not beat the goalkeeper. Meanwhile, in another quarterfinal of the day, MHAC Nagbani defeated GD Goenka 2-0. Sikander Khan and Rajan Singh were the scorers, who netted the ball in the seventh and 24th minute respectively. The competition is being supervised by the organising committee comprising Kuldeep Singh, Feastus Sotra, Yusuf Don, Rajesh Sumbria and Moon Stephen.
